Axe de recherche

Research subjects

DSIMB Réunion has been developing its research around new bioinformatics methods for the analysis of biological macromolecules and their interactions.

The research subjects are :

  • The use of a structural alphabet to analyze the structures of proteins, and its application
  • The molecular recognition process between proteins and ligands through classical and quantic mechanics approaches
  • Genome analysis and its application
  • Directed evolution and protein engineering through in silico approaches
  • Molecular modeling of peptides and small proteins
  • Analysis and modeling of protein structures rich in disulfide bonds
  • Data analysis applied to biological data and systems
